The MPD union (MASSCOP local 298) has officially endorsed Chief Sellon for the role of 4th Vice President of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP). In a letter of support unanimously voted on, the union highlighted his strong leadership, commitment to public safety, and dedication to advancing law enforcement on a national level. Chief Sellon’s vision and experience make him an outstanding candidate to help shape the future of policing. This endorsement reflects the confidence and respect he has earned within his department as well as the greater law enforcement community.

The Mansfield Police Association has endorsed Chief Ronald Sellon for the position of 4th Vice President of IACP.
Chief Sellon has demonstrated an unwavering desire to progress the policing profession. He has earned the respect and trust of our membership through collaboration, compassion, and support. Chief Sellon is a forward thinker, innovator, and progressive leader who has consistently worked to enhance our department while addressing the evolving challenges law enforcement faces today.
