As part of his role on the Human and Civil Rights Committee, Chief Sellon was selected to participate in the Enhancing the Response to Hate Crimes Advisory Committee, which created the Action Agenda for Community Organizations and Law Enforcement to Enhance the Response to Hate Crimes.
